Nau mai, haere mai ki te ako i Te Reo Māori.
A language not only leads into the respective degrees but develops and enhances language skills. The ability to speak other languages is valued in many professions and Te Reo Māori is highly valued in both the public and private sectors.
There are no prerequisites for study at Year 9, however to take a language in Year 10, Level One, Level Two and Level Three you must have completed previous years.
*Subject offers standards that count toward UE literacy.
