Level Two Business Studies
This course will cover the following:
● How to conduct research using qualitative and quantitative methods
● Motivation and engagement in business contexts
● Strategic planning within business contexts
● Internal operations of large businesses
By the end of this course students should be able to identify and discuss key aspects of business operations through conducting their own research into existing businesses. Students will be able to collect data and make appropriate observations. Students will create a product and bring it to market, and will have the opportunity to participate in the school Market Day.
BUS200 will require high levels of literacy, perseverance and time management skills. Students will need to pursue personal areas of interest to complete both the internal and external assessments. Students should be aware that achieving 90837 Demonstrate understanding of the internal features of a small business (1.1) or HOD approval is a requirement for entry to BUS200 for 2023.
