Course Description

Level Two Employment Skills

Employment skills is a life skills class looking at assisting you to become job ready from finding out your future plan, learning habits, job searching, job interviews and budgeting. In this course you will hear from different speakers and have an opportunity to visit different institutions. You can earn up to 16 Unit Standard credits to help you get NCEA Level 2. There is opportunity to take part in gateway but you do not have to do employment skills to take part in gateway as this is open to all Year 12 and Year 13 students. This course is relevant to engage you to your future and prepare you to be work ready with future employability skills.
