Year 10 Media Studies
Course Description
The Year 10 Media Studies programme at Henderson High School looks to expose students to a broad but focused approach to film and media studies in preparation for the senior levels.
Students will have the opportunity to:
Be exposed to a broad range of media across historical, contemporary and cultural contexts.
Understand the relationship between varying media and its creators, audiences, representations.
Understand how media is created and shaped for specific purposes.
Learn research skills and methods.
Acquire the skills necessary to take part in creative, effective, technically competent, and insightful media production.
