Level Three Dance
Level Three Dance is an extension of Level Two Dance. Students are expected to have developed independent choreography skills and demonstrate sound performance skills.
Students will continue to work within groups as well as develop solo pieces.
There are four compulsory standards, totalling 18 credits. Students are expected to take part in Showquest in order to gain 6 of these credits. Students have the option of an additional four credits if they undertake the external examination.
Students in Level 3 Dance are expected to participate in co-curricular dance shows or troupes and will be expected to take on leadership roles within the department.
Students have the opportunity to undertake the challenge of Scholarship Dance.

Total Credits Available: 22 credits.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
